We take our drinks very seriously and have spent many a happy hour creating our cocktail list, researching craft ales and testing our tipples. Whether you fancy a refreshing lager like our local Handsome Brewery’s FKR, an unusual Blue Moon, an elegant Aspall Cyder or local craft ale we will have something to suit.

Should a non alcoholic beverage be something you fancy, we have a ever expanding list of low and no alcohol drinks, including sparkling wine, cider and ale.

Because we are a free house we can pick and choose our beers as we like so we have five hand pulls that we use to showcase the very best in Cumbrian ales. We treat all our ales as guests, and are very happy to take requests.

We have a lovely wine list offering classic examples of our favourite grapes and we serve all our wines by both the glass and the carafe, so you can always find a size or style to suit.

Finally, one of our favourite things, our cocktail list… We developed this ourselves and much love has gone in to it. We adore a proper cocktail and our list includes classics like Aperol Spritz, Negroni and Pimms, as well as our seasonal specials.

Our house spirits are locally produced, and we like to showcase craft producers from around the world in our range.
