Our Bedrooms

We have five beautiful rooms for you to stay in, so you can really make a night of it. Each one is individually styled, with lots of character and they are all named after past owners and landlords of the pub.

All our rooms are ensuite, with dreamy beds, gleaming bathrooms and carpets so plush your toes will sink into them. We have thoughtful touches too, things like homemade brownies, fresh coffee, proper milk, Roberts digital radios and Bath House toiletries, which are made in Cumbria.

Our room rates include a fabulous breakfast served 8.30- 10am – local bread, fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt and a range of dishes including smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and a Full English.

Currently we do not allow pets in rooms, apart from in our spacious Barn Annexe Apartment where your furry friends will be made more than welcome.

This is a light, bright bedroom with a roomy king-size bed, on the top floor of the pub with large window overlooking the village. It has a lovely spacious bathroom complete with a big walk-in shower, but no bath.

This is a peaceful king-size room in lovely calming colours, on the first floor, with a view over to Whitbarrow Scar.  Its bathroom has a bath and a walk-in shower.

This is a great spacious room with a vast super-king bed which can be made up as a twin if you like. It has views over Arnside Knott and a bathroom with a lovely big walk-in shower, but no bath.

This is a wonderful spacious room with a king-size bed and lovely views over the Lyth Valley. It has a lovely bathroom with freestanding bath and a walk-in shower.

A one bedroom self catering annex with option to have a sofa bed and it is dog friendly. Light and airy, with lovely views over the Lyth Valley (perfect for sunsets) and Barn features.

We have a small guest seating area available on the first floor of the main building which is located close to all four bedrooms.
